Tri-Rotor’s years of experience enable us to configure complex pumping installations furnished in configurations designed to meet the exacting requirements of each customer’s specifications, while exceeding their expectations.  Heavy duty drives of all types match the rugged construction of Tri-Rotor pumps.

Each pump system, designed by Tri-Rotor, comes assembled complete for easy installation.  The pump units include the pump, the pump motor and drive, the shaft couplings, and the shaft guard, all mounted and aligned on a base plate engineered for the application.

Style M – Direct Connected Unit

For Tri-Rotor’s Style M base mounting, the pump shaft is directly connected to a motor through a flexible chain coupling set on a common base plate that can be economically designed, if necessary, to accommodate a specific footprint.  Many options exist for the motor choice including single and 3 phase industrial, premium efficiency, and inverter duty electric motors, gearhead electric motors in all configurations, gasoline/diesel engines, air motors, or hydraulic motors.  Pump, motor, risers, and guard are all factory-aligned to assure long service life.

Style M Mounted Unit Example

Style SM – Direct Connected Unit

Style SM is built on the same rigid foundations as the Style M, while incorporating “C-Flanged” footed gear reducers of any assembly type. These completely support all “C-Faced” electric motors for infinite flexibility and compact design.

Style CFM – Close Coupled Unit

Style CFM is specifically for the Series 20CP pump.  This lightweight and portable pump unit, which has its own “C-Faced/C-Flanged” mounting bracket with handle, is fully enclosed so that no moving parts are exposed.  It allows the pump to be completely supported by the motor, so no base plate is required and requires only the motor feet to be bolted in place. This self-aligning pump requires no shimming and can be mounted in any position.

Style GR – Enclosed Gear Reducer Unit

Style GR incorporates a standard 1725 RPM motor and an enclosed parallel helical gear reducer with inline or offset shafts to achieve very low pumps speeds for highly viscous applications.  These pump, motor, and gear reducer incorporate flexible couplings and coupling guards and are mounted on a rugged welded platform.  These units deliver maximum transmission of torque in a low-profile installation.

Style BD – V-Belt Drive Unit

For applications where a belt-driven unit is desirable, Style BD eliminates any concerns by supplying the properly calculated, sized and positioned V-belt or timing belt drive components and matched belts for a wide choice of pump speeds.  Also included are an adjustable motor pad and belt guard and factory-manufactured lubricated outboard bearing support, all completely assembled and aligned.

Style MO

Style MO is for applications that are best suited for an open-gear drive. This style comes complete with a fiber pinion on the motor shaft, an outboard bearing support and a steel spur gear on the pump shaft, all factory-assembled and ready for service out-of-the-box.

Custom Engineered Mounted Units

Tri-Rotor also offers custom-engineered mountings, portable units, silent chain drives, dual proportioning assemblies, multiple pump configurations, remote control metering, batch metering and infinitely variable control of constituent flows.

Dual Pump Unit Example

The 100CV/20DVSMDRA is direct connected dual right angle gear reducer with 5 HP, 1800 RPM, 3 Phase, 60 Hertz, 208-230/460 Volt, Premium Efficiency, Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled (TEFC), NEMA Frame 184TC motor with flexible chain coupling sets driving, on the left the fully automatic 100CV infinitely variable volume pump, and on the right the infinitely variable volume 20DV pump equipped with a Vernier Flow Control (VFC), and Pressure Regulating Control (PRC) which allows the operator to infinitely adjust the delivery and back-pressure settings of the pump from while the pump is running at a constant speed
